iLand download page
iLand is a research tool, and is freely available for non-commercial use. We have developed the software relying solely on open source components, in order to facilitate its use and further development by others (see here for some ideas on iLand software development). The software is released under the GNU General Public Licence (GPL).
This page contains the newest and latest official iLand release. Older releases can be found on the iLand - previous releases page.
iLand 0.6.9 for Windows
iLand version 0.6.9, i.e. the model version applied for the HJ Andrews study
Seidl et al. (2012b). The download package includes:
- The executable and all required libraries. Just unzip and run, no need for installation
- The full C++ source code of iLand (src.zip).
iLand is a research and software development effort free of charge. The software is GPL-licencsed, which means you can use, modify and redistribute your modifications. We are currently working on improvements and new features for iLand. We plan on releasing new versions periodically once the new developments have undergone peer review and are published in the scientific literature.
