iLand 0.3 "Molokai"

Image SVN-tag: #443 Date: 2010/06/29 This version was used for the simulations that are the basis of the first iLand publication (Seidl R, Rammer W, Scheller R, Spies T, 201(1|2): Simulating complexity: a scalable, individual-based process model of forest ecosystem dynamics). The version includes the basic processes for adult tree growth, competition and mortality.

iLand 0.6.9 "Lanai"

Image SVN-tag: #635 Date: 2011/03/26 This version was used for the simulations for the iLand publication II (Seidl R, Spies T, Rammer W, Steel A, Pabst R, Olsen K, 2012: Drivers of spatial variation in old-growth forest carbon density disentangled with Lidar and an individual-based landscape model). This version includes several new modules: a soil module for carbon/ nitrogen cycling, a module to treat standing dead wood, a regeneration module covering seed dispersal, establishment and the growth of saplings. In addition, several enhancements aiming at "real" landscape scale simulations were introduced.
