iLand goes Linux

Up and then I think about switching to Linux, and up and then I install a Linux version somewhere on my harddrive, boot it up, play around, get stuck (usually, WLAN drivers play a role here), and soon after that I give it up. Recently, I tried Virtul Box and here the experience differed significantly: I installed a Ubuntu 9.04, rebooted the virtual machine and (almost) everything worked nice from the start. Two evenings later, I had it all up and running: the iLand-sourcecode from a SVN-Repository, compiled with Qt Creator and running on KDE 4.3. Here is the proof:
